Nutritional status of children are describes the state of balanced health as a result of consuming food that can be seen from the child's weight. Dietary pattern can be influence to the nutritional status of children. The dietary pattern used in this study was control over eating. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of foster eating control over eating by mothers with nutritional status of children aged 6-9 years from low economic families in Puri Village, Puri District, Mojokerto Regency. The research design uses Cross Sectional. The population in this study was mothers who had children aged 6 -9 years with low economic family status in Puri Village, Puri Subdistrict, Mojokerto Regency with 50 respondents and a sample of 40 people who were in the place. By using Purposive sampling and using Spearman Rho test, research instrument using Questionnaire. Test results using SPSS 24. Spearman correlation statistical test obtained p=0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship of control over eating parenting by mothers with nutritional status of children aged 6 - 9 years in Puri Village, Puri District, Mojokerto Regency. It is said that the feeding pattern applied to toodlers or children is still not good enough, so that toddlers or children have poor nutritional status as well, there are even mothers who provide staple food to their children 1 time a day on the grounds that the child does not want to eat and the mother only gives snacks that the child likes.
