Background: Hypertension or an increase in high blood pressure is the most common trigger for stroke and is a major risk factor for stroke in the world. This study aims to analyze the relationship history of hypertension with the incidence of stroke. Methods: This study uses a quantitative type of research using a correlation analytic research design with aapproach cross sectional. The population in this study were some stroke patients in the neurology (nerve) poly at RSU Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Mojokerto City as many as 40 people, the sample in this study was 20 people with a sampling technique usingtechniques non-probability sampling type Consecutive sampling. Data analysis used the rho sperm test with the help of SPSS 16. Results: From the results of data analysis using the rho sperm test, it showed the value of value (0.000) < (0.05), statistically with a 95% significance degree and a correlation coefficient value of 0.733 worth positive. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between a history of hypertension and the incidence of stroke at RSU Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo, Mojokerto City. This causes the higher a person's blood pressure, the risk of having a stroke also increases.
