Role of the family Provide stimulus during the golden age was very important. Therefore, it was necessary to provide stimulation from an early age. Playdough was a dough game that was easy to form. Playdough was a game to train fine motor skill. The pull and push motions helped in relaxing muscles and releasing frustration. In addition, it stimulated the acupressure points on the hands that triggered the release of endorphins of pleasure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of playdough play therapy on improving the fine motor skill of toddlers (1-3 years) in Temenggungan Village, Pohjentrek, Pasuruan City. The design of this study was pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The research variables were the provision of playdough therapy as the independent variable and the fine motor development of toddlers as the dependent variable. The research population was all toddlers as many as 27 respondents. The samples were taken by using Total Sampling Technique for as many as 27 toddlers. The results of the study before being given the game most of the toddlers began to develop, and after being given the game most of them developed as expected. The results of the Wilcoxon signed Rank Test statistical test obtained p value = 0,000 < α = 0,05. It can be concluded that H0 was rejected, meaning that there was an effect of playdough play therapy on improving the fine motor skill of toddlers in Temenggungan village, Pohjentrek, Pasuruan City. It was very important for children to get stimulation oftenly to improve their fine motor development. The stimulation could be given by parents, the surrounding environment, or people closest to them.
