GAMBARAN DISTRESS DAN BURNOUT DALAM MENGHADAPI SKRIPSI PADA MAHASISWA STIKES BINA SEHAT PPNI MOJOKERTO

A thesis is a scientific work required as part of the requirements for academic education in higher education. This means that the thesis is a requirement that must be taken by students in tertiary institutions to obtain a bachelor's degree. As a graduation requirement, students must complete it. In other words, all individuals who are educated at tertiary institutions are required to write a thesis. The research strategy in this study used a descriptive survey research design with a cross-sectional approach. In the burnout condition in terms of student gender, the majority of students experienced moderate burnout, namely female students caused by emotional expression in the organization viewed by gender. Based on the theoretical perspective, it is stated that interpersonal relationships play a greater role for women than men. Empirical studies show that women have more tendencies based on self-esteem in social relationships, it seems reasonable to expect that women will find interpersonal conflict more severe than men. In terms of writing the thesis, it was found that there were differences in the stress load, which could be because interpersonal conflicts that were not heavier between male and female students would exacerbate burnout conditions. The reality is that thesis writing still haunts some students sitting or finishing college in the final semester.
