In the elderly there is a decrease in ADL, this is a decline in function, so that it will cause the elderly to decline in carrying out daily activities such as eating, to the bathroom, dressing and more in Activities Daily Living. So that the elderly experience dependency. elderly dependence due to the condition of the elderly experiencing many physical and psychological deterioration. The method used in this study is descriptive method and also uses the Barthel index measuring instrument as a tool to determine the level of independence to the two clients in conducting Daily Living Activities. From the results of the research from the first day to the third day it was found that the two clients experienced an increase in Activities Daily Living. There is a difference in scores between the two clients where it is obtained between client 1 and client 2, client 1 medium category, while client 2 heavy category . which is lower than client 1 because in terms of client mobilization 2 is still experiencing difficulties. Keep trying to bathe yourself without having to wait to be bathed by nurses and also continue to practice doing activities in accordance with the ability to be able to improve ADL fulfillment.
