Cardiac Arrest is life threatening in emergency cases if it is not treating immediately by nurses.
Self-efficacy of nurses become factor that influence success of resuscitation for Cardiac Arrest.
The purpose of this study is to know the description of the belief in the ability of Self Efficacy
nurses in providing Resuscitation on the patient's Cardiac Arrest. In a study using descriptive
methods. Its populationis all of executive nurse at Emergency Room of Hospital Pasuruan
Regency with the method “Total Sampling” amounting to 55 people. Data sources using
primary data, as data collection using Standard questionnaire RSES (Resuscitaion Self Efficacy
Scale) and instruments using questionnaire sheet. Data analysistechniques using frequency
distribution. The results showed that most of Self Efficacy nurses are high in carrying out
resuscitation on the patient's Cardiac Arrest that is amounted to 31 people and Self Efficacy
nurses are low that is amounted to 24 people. Most nurses have high Self Efficacy in providing
resuscitation on the patient's Cardiac Arrest are influenced by gender, education and training.
Therefore, nurses need to improve self-efficacy in performing resuscitation in Cardiac Arrest by
training and continuing education.
