The disability lepers had an impact on the physical aspects one of them is body image that will affect the quality of life .The purpose of this research was to find out the relations between body image with quality of life lepers in the Hospital Leprosy Sumberglagah Mojokerto. The research design used correlational analysis with cross-sectional method. Independent variable is body image and dependent variable is quality of life. In this study the sample used was some patients leprosy that treatment about 26 respondents. Sampling technique used Non Probability Sampling with consecutive sampling method. Data collected by questionnaire instrument and tasted with test Fisher's Exact Test. The results showed of the 17 respondents experienced a negative body image that was experienced low quality of life there are 16 respondents (94,1%) and 1 respondents (5,9%) had high quality of life. And then from 9 respondents experienced an positive body image that was experiencing high quality of life there are 6 respondents (66,7%) and 3 respondents (33,3%) had low quality of life. The Fisher’s Exact Test shows ρ = 0,002 < α 0,05 there was a means correlation between body image with quality of life lepers in the Hospital Leprosy Sumberglagah Mojokerto. So can be concluded that the lepers who had negative body image so the quality of his life also low. They are able to develops attitudes is expected on the prohibition on positive perspective and eliminated a negative perspective from others in order to good adaption that will not disturbed the body image that impacted on the lowed in the quality of life.
