Hepatitis is a disease characterized by inflammation of the body's organs, which is the liver which can be caused by infections, drugs, metabolic disorders, and autoimmune disorders. The most common manifestations of viral hepatitis infection are anorexia, nausea, vomiting and pain in the right upper quadrant abdomen. So that in patients with hepatitis there is often a nursing problem imbalance of nutrients less than the body's needs associated with inadequate intake. The purpose of this study is to provide a real picture of the implementation of nursing care in the imbalance of nutrients less than the body's needs in hepatitis patients. The research design used in this case study is a descriptive method. The provision of nursing care for imbalance of nutrition is less than the body's needs in hepatitis patients in RSI Sakinah Mojokerto starting from the study, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The subjects used in the study were two patients who had the same nursing problems and medical diagnoses. The data of this study were taken with interview techniques, physical examination, observation, documentation, and data analysis (WOD). After taking nursing care for 3 days the results in participant 1 still experienced a decrease in appetite and in participants 2 experienced an increase in appetite.
